BSO OPEN REHEARSAL, Symphony Hall, Boston, MA

Thursday, May 4,   8:30 AM – 3 PM                                                   Cost  -- $55 for concert and  lunch
Opening the concert will be a suite of orchestral music from Shostakovich's score for Grigory Kozintsev's 1941 production of King Lear.  Next, soprano Kristine Opolais will join the BSO as soloist performing Mahler's mellifluous Symphony No. 4, a musical journey from earth to heaven that is also the last of Mahler's symphonies.  Finally, Norwegian pianist Leif Ove Andsnes will perform Rachmanioff's last pian concerto, the Fourth, which the composer worked on over the course of ten years.  After the concert we will enjoy a late lunch at Bacci's in Stoneham.

"WEST SIDE STORY" at Timberlane Performing Arts Center, Plaistow, NH

Saturday, May 6 , 10 AM – 4:30 PM                                                                               Cost -- $59 for show and lunch
Stephen Sondheim and Leonard Bernstein's update of Romeo and Juliet is told as the tale of a turf war between rival teenage gangs in Manhattan's Hell's Kitchen, and the two lovers who cross battle lines.  Prior to the concert we'll have lunch at the Early Bird Cafe.

SHANKLIN MUSIC HALL, Groton, MA

Sunday, May 7,  1 – 4:30 PM                                                                            Cost -- $32 for concert and transportation
Just entering the magnificent Shanklin Music Hall is a wonderful experience.  Specially built to house the largest Wurlitzer Theater Pipe Organ ever installed in New England, this facility provides perfect acoustics.  Our concert will be both an audio and visual spectacular, with acclaimed Phil Kelsal, direct from the Tower Ballroom at the Mighty Wirlitzer console.
